There was a painting in the art/craft room that I fell in love with the first time I saw it.
And I’m not really one for oil paintings.

Today I asked the art instructor if she could tell me who did it and if she knew if he might sell it. She walked over to the painting, picked it up, and handed it to me.

I about fell over.

Turns out the artist never signs his paintings, never enters them in the art shows, but gives them away to whomever wants them.

She said if I bought him a blank canvas she’d make sure it got to him.

*no, I don’t know if she’s really the artist.
