After my flashback I have up trying to go back to sleep and got up.
After I took a shower I took Keegan out to do her business. The problem was that it was only about 4:15 and while the door will let you out it won’t let you back in.
I wandered around to the front entrance where there’s a little old man who seems to sit there 24/7.
I tapped on the glass plate front doors for a while but he never heard or saw me from what I can tell.
Finally someone drove up who was an employee and she let me come in the side door with her; at which point I scurried back to my room.
I now know to look at the clock no matter what.

/ June 5, 2012What happens in that situation? Is Keegan the only Service Dog? What if other dogs had to do their business at that itme? There should be a bell or something so you could get back in.

/ June 6, 2012Nope, there is another service dog here; in fact, my roommate has one.
What I’m supposed to do is go to the other end of our floor and tell the nurse on duty we need to go out and then hope she’ll do what she’s supposed to do and walk us to a door, let is do what needs to be done and then let us back in.
I just wasn’t paying attention to the time.
