It’s easier to do my treadmill time if I have something to watch on TV.
Tonight I stumbled on a show following one of those child pageant “stars”. Sheeeit.
What’s with 6 and 7 year olds dancing like the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders of the 80’s? These kids don’t have hips, shouldn’t have hips, what’s with the gyrating and the vay jay jay shots?
There’s just something obscene/disgusting/shameful about seeing little kids put their bodies through the motions of adults working a strip bar to an audience and get cheered for it.
Of course children imitate their elders but it used to be an elder would say something like “honey, that’s something only adults do” in a way that didn’t embarrass the child but let them know it wasn’t appropriate.
So.. I found a really good soccer game between FC Dallas and Sounders FC! Woot!!
I find it much easier to exercise while I’m watching soccer. That’s my goal, to be able to play pickup games of soccer so seeing these guys doing what I want to do is great motivation.
