2 Relpax later, pfft. Stagger off the shuttle from the Temple VA back to my home VA in Austin.
Beg the doctor at my clinic, who isn’t *my* doctor because *my* doctor is only in wed-thur-fri, to DO something, anything.
2 Vicodin later the monster that eats my brains is subdued and thrashing feebly while muttering loud vicious threats. Now that the thrashing is increasing in tempo and the walls are giving way it’s time to take another vicodin and hope that sleep smothers it.
If not, I was told to come back to the clinic tomorrow for further consult.
Obviously the Relpax is not working.

/ May 2, 2012I’m so sorry for your pain. I know all about Migraines. I use Imatrex and Maxalt. The Maxalt doesn’t make me as tired so I alternate. I have to sleep after I take either of them but Maxalt seems to work faster.
