When I was a child I would disappear into my practicing. As long as I only played pieces on my set list I was left alone.

One of my favorites (and a favorite of children everywhere I think) was called “The Spinning Song”.

For whatever reason that song just went through my head.
I still remember the entire song, my fingers were twitching in the same patterns, and I could see the sheet music.
Almost 30 years after I learned it.

The mind/body is an amazing thing.
