Today is what I’ve learned to call a recovery day.
I slept as long as I needed to this morning, when I woke up it was gradually doing my best to not think about “things”. I concentrated on breathing and relaxing. I concentrated on “being”.
Later I called Keegan and she jumped into the hammock with me. There is great comfort being with Keegan.
She has figured out getting into the hammock and does so with grace. Getting out of the hammock though is a comedy for all involved. I’m sure she’ll work it out but right now it’s not at all graceful!
I will spend the rest of the day gradually re-acclimating to the stimulus around me and sleeping when I need to, and holding Keegan when I need to.
Tomorrow I think I will be okay again with limited outings.
