Writing a book.

Several people have told me that I should write a book but I’ve always wondered what I have to write about that anyone would want to read.
But then I was being told that I should write a childrens book and illustrate it.
I’ve kept the idea in the back of my mind for some time now.

Last night while thinking of my young cousins and the questions they ask I found what I could write about.

I have the first part of it settled in my mind but I don’t have the middle or the end. I don’t want it to be too complicated, I’m aiming for 3 to 5 year old range I think, though it might be an easy picture book for 6 and 7 year olds.

Now how to get it in paper/e-ink…

I have done that on Lulu.com, a self-publishing website which is Free. The only thing I wound up paying for was the ISBN # and the copywrite. My friend and I figured it out so I’m sure you can too. Good-Luck.

  2. You can self-publish through Amazon, too.

    • Yeah, someone else mentioned that as well.

I suppose I’d better start looking at that to see what constraints it puts on my drawings and formatting, before I start drawing.
