and of course, pics of the injured hand..

here ya go, all wrapped up. Making the right hand mostly useless because even if I could use the fingers the bandaging keeps getting in the way. but I do have to admit that it hurts much less if I keep it wrapped like I’m supposed too. 🙂

  3. Carpal Tunnel. Couple months of OT, then revisit doc to see if it warrants further treatment.
    I’m keeping the cast on most of the time until I can talk to the OT and see if I’m allowed to start using it. But it definitely hurts if I use it, bend it, or try to hold anything so I’m at the end of my knowledge about what to do and what not to do.

  4. The diagnosis may be something else called “trigger thumb”, possibly combined with carpal tunnel. OT says therapy won’t solve either of those problems though, only surgery will do anything about it, so now it’s wait wait wait and shuttle back and forth between specialists until doc refers me to a surgeon or hand specialist.
