Sunny and warm.
I think I’ll do some more work on the camper today, some adjustments. Finish painting the underside of my porch overhang and such.
Tonight I’m going to see if I can somehow alter my hammock so that Keegan can be there with me. She’s getting cold at night and I think the body heat will help her. Plus if she’s next to me I can share my sleeping bag with her and keep her warmer that way.

/ December 8, 2011I don’t have any experience sleeping in a hammock, but I’ve heard that some of them, at least, are more-or-less designed for you to sleep at an oblique angle – sort of across them – rather than along the length of the hammock. Apparently they’re more stable that way, you don’t fall out so often, and you don’t sink into them so much with your bum down low and your feet in the air. If you were able to fit into yours that way, I bet Keegan could fit in there beside you without capsizing you both.
Who knows, maybe it’ll work…

/ December 8, 2011Heya Katy!
I do sleep at an oblique angle in my hammock. It’s extremely comfy.
But my hammock is just a twin flat sheet with knots at each end. 🙂
It isn’t large enough for me and the pupster.
I want to try to use a full or queen size sheet and see if the additional width helps.
