Today I am at Lake Phlugerville.  My buddy Sam is doing his long run around the lake so I came to enjoy the sound of the water.

It is very windy, the flags are straight out with no flagging. But, the wind makes for excellent waves coming up on the shore. It’s been so long since I heard water rolling up to the beach! I think it’s one of the most peaceful sounds of the world.

Keegan is laying here on the dock beside me. I was surprised she didn’t head out into the water to get her feet wet but I guess she has some common sense after all! It’s too windy for water play.
