I have a thermometer in my camper. I’m not sure I want to look at it.
Tomorrow I finish the door and hopefully put a wind break on the front to help with gas milage.
I will look at insulation but I don’t think I’ll be able to install it tomorrow.
But, if I can find the stuff I’ll install it later this weekend. Brrrrrrrr.
There should be a few pictures next week.

/ November 3, 2011The styrofoam stuff that looks like packing material, might be something to think about.

/ November 4, 2011keep in mind: insulation will not create heat, only help keep what heat there is inside. much like a tent, it’ll take some time for you and keegan to warm things up a bit.
that said, it *will* help! try to get *every* surface covered, including the inside of the door. and even though it’d been a lot of work, if you can put some foam sheeting down on the truckbed then putting your carpeting down, etc on top of it will be very effective.

/ November 4, 2011Re windbreak: probably only help your mileage at highway speeds — and it will add weight, which may be better expended on payload (like food). If you decide to knock one together, strive for lightness.
