Brrrrrrrrr!

I have a thermometer in my camper. I’m not sure I want to look at it.

Tomorrow I finish the door and hopefully put a wind break on the front to help with gas milage.

I will look at insulation but I don’t think I’ll be able to install it tomorrow.
But, if I can find the stuff I’ll install it later this weekend. Brrrrrrrr.

There should be a few pictures next week.

The styrofoam stuff that looks like packing material, might be something to think about.

keep in mind: insulation will not create heat, only help keep what heat there is inside. much like a tent, it’ll take some time for you and keegan to warm things up a bit.

that said, it *will* help! try to get *every* surface covered, including the inside of the door. and even though it’d been a lot of work, if you can put some foam sheeting down on the truckbed then putting your carpeting down, etc on top of it will be very effective.

Re windbreak: probably only help your mileage at highway speeds — and it will add weight, which may be better expended on payload (like food). If you decide to knock one together, strive for lightness.

Two cents’ worth of peanuts, straight from the gallery.
