You’ve gotten to the point where you need some protein. Stat.
Remember that you have no refrigeration and the temps are still getting up into the 80’s during the days.
Remember that tinned meats are usually very high in salt.
Also, remember that money is an issue, you don’t want to lose too much of your food budget on food that goes bad before you can eat it.

/ November 2, 2011if you can, by a small amount each day, just before you coo it. A minimial amount of refrigeraion, just leave it in a Keegan-proof cooler. Woof!
el gato negro
/ November 2, 2011just like a piano, you CAN tuna fish… (with apologies to REO)
tuna is a protein.
Katy
/ November 2, 2011Do you have a cooler at all?
What about hard-boiling some eggs? They’ll keep a little easier than meat.
Tuna gets old fast, but I think you can find canned tuna that is not terribly high in salt.

/ November 2, 2011Jerry, maybe possible but gets expensive fast.
Gato, *sigh*
Katy, nope, no cooler at all. Take too much space and upkeep gets cumbersome.
