Last night, after driving around for 30 minutes or so, I found a church that has “overflow” parking in a small strip mart of shops. The closest shop to the overflow parking sign was a Walgreens.
There were a couple trailers, a car, and a van parked there. I couldn’t tell if they belonged to the church or not.
But, I tucked in within the “grouping” of the other vehicles and slept pretty well.
I was woken a few times by people walking by and talking very loudly, once about 2:30am, no idea what they were up to.

Today I really need a day off. Just a day without people. A day to relax. No muzac blaring all around me, no freezing air conditioner turning my fingers blue, no constant awareness, no “blending in” and projecting confidence and belonging, just me, Keegan, and quiet space.
