So I went looking for a new spot this evening and decided to keep an eye open for small parked trailers.
I was wandering by the place where the farmers market used to be set up on weekends. It’s moved to a new location since last summer.
I’m pretty sure it’s city land though it may be school district land and I’m not sure if school district land is private or not.
Ordinarily I say keep away from school areas but this is the parking lot of a stadium used by the entire district and there isn’t any school nearby.
There were a couple of small trailers parked on one edge so I pulled in beside them.
Since it’s Saturday night there won’t be any school activities at the stadium tomorrow.
Hopefully I won’t get disturbed by the authorities.
But, I’m finding that the only way to learn where to park at first is to get turned away by police or security.
Frequently, there are no signs posted. And the people on the homeless hotlines can’t give you any advice or suggestions either.
So… Here’s hoping for a good night!

/ October 15, 2011So far so good! : )
It’s 11pm now and no one has slowed driving by or stopped and there haven’t been any bright lights focused in my direction (flashlights or car headlights).
I don’t go to sleep until about 2am because it seems that the police or security always come by before then. After that, I’ve never been bothered.
