Public Thanks!

Since I’ve shared this blog there have been many people who have helped me.
I was going to say names but I’m not sure if people want their names mentioned so I’m erring on the side of caution. If you don’t mind me naming you, post something to me in the comments or email me and I’ll update the blog. : D

First, all of you who comment help. Probably more than you can imagine, unless you’ve been in a marginalized spot yourself. Knowing that there are people out in the “real world” that know you exist, know that you are living in different circumstances, and would know if you disappeared, is a huge aspect of being human. You help. Just by being there (and commenting once in a while so I am reminded on my bad days that you ARE there).

Second, all of you who are doing “little” things. Ha! Little. As if there was such a thing. Sending me my futbol games via DVD so I can catch up! You’ve no idea how much this makes me smile, it’s not essential, it’s just… cool. : D
Sending me samples of supplies that food stamps doesn’t cover (which is a heck of a lot). Sending me mail! Who doesn’t love mail!! (I love mail, just so there’s no confusion.)

Third, those of you who have contacted me privately and are sending help so that I can do certain things, like getting my truck inspected (it’s registered but not inspected yet, needs a new muffler ) so that I don’t have any trouble of that sort with the authorities.

Fourth, those of you who send me emails every couple of days or catch me via chat and talk about simple stuff. Stuff that’s going on in *your* lives, cause that stuff is just as important as my stuff. And I still want to be included in your lives, just like I was before; you guys add normalcy to my life just by being who you’ve always been.

Fifth, those of you who actually know me IRL (in real life) and have personal contact with me. A sleeping bag and a pretty spiffy bag lunch. And complimenting my building skills (what a nice change that is!) and meeting my Keegan girl.
[I did buy a sleeping bag but it wouldn’t have been enough on it’s own come the really cold weather, now I have the other one so I can use the two together. Of course you probably won’t be able to find *me* in there anywhere, but at least I’ll be warm! .. and if I were to somehow fall out of my hammock I don’t think I’d ever feel it.]

So thanks ya’ll.
