There are only two pictures of my progress so far.
This one is the very basic frame. Or at least most of the frame. It took me quite a while to get this far.
This one shows the walls attached but the last 1/3 of the roof isn’t on yet. I don’t think the back wall and door is installed here yet either.
But now you see why I need to figure out how to add a wind break/scoop on the front.

/ October 5, 2011Rachel, this is Alyce from the ebook group. Thanks soooo much for letting us read your blog! You are so brave and imaginative. Also PRO ACTIVE! I applaud you! I am on social security disability and I do know how close every one of us is to homelessness. This is a fact and nothing to be ashamed of. So don’t be. The scoop for your truck…. I don’t know your financial state but my first thought is one of those clear scoop shaped things that people use to cover below ground basement windows that keep the leaves out of the well. Do you know what I mean? Maybe that can be used. It is light weight and all in one unit.
Homeless Adventures
/ October 6, 2011Hey Alyce!
I’m in process (waiting) to see if I will be approved for SSI. I know it’s a long process and I’m still at the start of it.
I *think* I know what you’re talking about for the basement window.. I’ll go into the Lowe’s/Home Depot and ask them if they know about them. That might work. thanks! : D
